Terms of Use

The terms for using this website and working with TRTL MEDIA, written in plain language.

About TRTL MEDIA

TRTL MEDIA (“TRTL MEDIA”, “we”, “us”) is a digital studio based in Maharashtra, India. We design and build websites for property and design businesses, including real estate, interior design, architecture and property-led brands, and we work with clients in India and internationally.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply when you visit our website or engage us for services. Our services are provided to businesses. By accepting a quote you confirm that you act for a business and have authority to bind it. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the website or our services.

Using this website

You may browse this website for lawful, personal or business-evaluation purposes. You agree not to:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or any connected system;
  • introduce malware, or interfere with how the website works or is delivered to others;
  • copy, scrape or republish our content, design or code in a way that infringes our rights;
  • submit false, misleading or unlawful information through our enquiry form.

We may update, suspend or remove any part of the website at any time without notice.

Our services

We currently offer five services, each scoped around your needs:

  • Premium website design — a bespoke website planned around your brand, services and enquiry path;
  • Website redesign — reworking an existing site where presentation, structure, mobile experience or enquiry journey needs direction;
  • Website care — an optional arrangement for agreed updates, routine checks and support;
  • Local search setup — setting up your Google Business Profile, local page structure and search markup, without any guarantee of rankings;
  • Enquiry automation — configuring confirmation emails, enquiry routing and follow-up emails for your website forms, using existing third-party tools rather than custom software.
Not currently available: paid media and campaign management are in development and cannot yet be booked. Custom dashboards, client portals and software products describe a longer-term direction only. Nothing on this website is an offer to provide them today.

Enquiries, scope and quotes

Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract. Our standard website projects start from £2,500. The fee for your project depends on the pages, content, functionality and requirements involved, and is confirmed in your written quote.

After discussing your needs, we will provide a written scope, timeline and quote. A project starts only when you accept the quote in writing (email or message is sufficient) and any agreed advance has been received. A quote is valid for the period stated in it.

Fees and payment

  • Currency. Fees are stated in the currency shown in the quote (for example GBP, USD, EUR or INR; our published prices are in pounds sterling). Currency-conversion costs and exchange-rate differences on your side are yours to bear.
  • Schedule. The payment schedule is set out in the quote. Invoices are due by the date shown on them, and we may pause work while an invoice is overdue.
  • Transfer costs. Bank, transfer and payment-gateway charges are paid by you, so that we receive the full invoiced amount.
  • Taxes. We add GST and other taxes where Indian law requires. You are responsible for any VAT, sales tax, duties or withholding tax that applies in your country. If withholding is required by law, you will pay additional amounts so that we receive the full invoiced amount, unless the quote says otherwise.
  • Third-party costs — such as domains, hosting, premium fonts, stock media, paid plugins and licences — are not included unless the quote says so.

Founding-client offer

We may run a limited founding-client offer, which is described on our offer page while it is open. These terms apply to that offer in addition to everything else in these Terms.

  • Limited places. The offer is limited to three (3) clients in total. It closes automatically on this website once three places are confirmed, and we may close or withdraw it earlier at any time. Once closed, the offer page may be removed.
  • Price and scope. The founding-client price is £1,299 for a website of up to six (6) pages, compared with our standard projects from £2,500. The pages, timeline, revision rounds and payment schedule are set out in your written quote. Extra pages or functionality are a change request, with any extra fee confirmed first.
  • Application and approval. Applying does not create a contract or guarantee a place. We review each application and may approve or decline it at our discretion. A place is confirmed only when you accept our written quote and any agreed advance has been received.
  • Eligibility. The offer is for businesses in real estate, architecture, interior design or other property-led sectors. It is limited to one place per business, cannot be combined with other offers or discounts, and cannot be transferred.
  • What we ask in return. If you take a place, you agree to: (a) give an honest written testimonial within 14 days of your website going live, which we may publish on our website, social channels and marketing; (b) allow us to show the finished website, your business name and logo, with a link to your live site, as a case study and portfolio piece; (c) give honest feedback on the process; (d) supply content, images and approvals within the timelines in your quote; and (e) keep a discreet “Website by TRTL MEDIA” credit, linking to us, in your website footer.
  • Genuine testimonials. We publish testimonials only in the client’s own words. You are never asked to say anything untrue, and the testimonial must reflect your real experience.
  • Everything else. The rest of these Terms apply to founding-client projects, including the sections on fees, intellectual property, no guarantee of results, and liability. Domains, hosting, premium fonts, stock media and paid plugins are not included unless your quote says so.

Your responsibilities

To keep a project on track, you agree to:

  • provide the content, images, information and approvals we reasonably need, on time;
  • give clear, consolidated feedback within the review periods we agree;
  • ensure you own, or are licensed to use, everything you give us, and that it is accurate and lawful;
  • make sure the content and the website you publish comply with the laws that apply to you and your audience, including real estate and property-marketing rules, advertising and consumer law, accessibility requirements, and data-protection and cookie-consent laws in the countries you target.

Unless the quote expressly includes them, we do not provide legal documents or compliance advice for your website, such as your privacy policy or cookie banner. Please take advice from a qualified professional in your market.

Working across time zones

We communicate in English, by email or an agreed messaging channel. Our working days and hours follow Indian Standard Time (IST), and we agree meeting times that suit both sides. Timelines are good-faith estimates that depend on prompt feedback; delays on your side may move delivery dates. Public holidays in India and in your country may affect schedules.

Revisions and changes

Each quote includes a reasonable number of revision rounds, as stated in the quote. Requests outside the agreed scope — such as extra pages, new functionality or a change of direction after approval — are handled as a change request, with any extra fee and time confirmed before we proceed.

Intellectual property

  • Your content. You keep ownership of your logos, text, photographs and other materials.
  • Final deliverables. Once all fees for a project are paid in full, you receive the rights to use the final website design and project-specific code as agreed in the quote. Until then, no rights transfer.
  • Third-party and open-source material. Fonts, libraries, templates, stock media and similar items stay under their own licences.
  • Our tools and know-how. We keep ownership of our pre-existing materials, methods, frameworks and reusable components.
  • Portfolio. Unless you tell us in writing otherwise, we may show the completed work and your business name in our portfolio.

Client data and data processing

You decide what personal data goes into your website, such as visitor enquiries sent through a contact form. Where we handle personal data on your behalf while building or supporting your site, we act as your processor. We will:

  • use it only to deliver the agreed services and on your instructions;
  • keep it confidential and protect it with reasonable security measures;
  • use sub-processors, such as hosting and form-delivery providers, only where needed, and remain responsible for them;
  • tell you without undue delay if we become aware of a breach affecting it;
  • return or delete it when the work ends, unless the law requires us to keep it.

If your law requires a data processing agreement, we will sign a reasonable one on request. You remain responsible for having a lawful basis for the data collected through your website.

Website care

Website care is optional and is not a mandatory subscription. Before it begins we agree in writing what is included, how requests are handled, expected response times and the fee. Either party may end it with the notice period stated in that agreement.

No guarantee of results

A website can improve how a business is presented, how clear the offer is and how easy it is to enquire. Results also depend on traffic, your offer and pricing, sales follow-up, market conditions and other factors outside our control. We do not guarantee leads, enquiries, sales, revenue or search rankings.

Our ROI Lab is an illustrative tool only and is governed by the ROI Calculator Terms and Conditions.

Cancellation and termination

You may cancel a project by written notice. You will pay for work completed and for non-refundable costs incurred up to the date of cancellation, and any advance already paid is applied to those amounts.

We may pause or end a project if invoices remain unpaid, if we are unable to get necessary input from you for an extended period, if content you supply is unlawful or infringing, or if conduct towards our team is abusive. Sections that by their nature should continue (payment, intellectual property, confidentiality, liability) survive ending.

Confidentiality

Each party will keep the other’s non-public business information confidential and use it only for the project. This does not apply to information that is public, already known, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law.

Third-party services and disclaimers

Hosting, domains, form delivery, fonts, analytics and similar services are provided by third parties under their own terms. We are not responsible for their outages, changes or policies.

This website and its content are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties. Nothing here is legal, financial, tax or investment advice.

Limitation of liability and indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TRTL MEDIA is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the fees you paid us for that service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Where local law does not allow a limitation, it applies only to the extent permitted.

You agree to indemnify TRTL MEDIA against claims arising from content you provide or from your unlawful use of the work we deliver.

Legal compliance

Each party will comply with the laws that apply to it, including anti-bribery, export-control and sanctions laws. You confirm that neither you nor anyone who controls you is the subject of applicable sanctions. We may decline or end services if continuing would breach the law.

Privacy

How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any quote are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

If a dispute arises, please write to us first. The parties will try to resolve it in good faith for 30 days. If it is not resolved, it will be finally settled by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, before a sole arbitrator, conducted in English, with its seat in Maharashtra, India. An arbitral award may be enforced internationally under the New York Convention. The courts at that seat have jurisdiction for interim relief and to support or enforce arbitration.

Nothing in this section removes mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of the country where you live.

General

  • Entire agreement. The accepted quote and these Terms are the whole agreement. If they conflict on scope or fees, the quote prevails.
  • Severability and waiver. If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest continues. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your rights without our written consent. We may use subcontractors and remain responsible for their work.
  • Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disaster, internet or power failure, or government action.
  • Language. The English version prevails over any translation.
  • Notices. Notices may be given by email to the addresses each party uses for the project.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on this page, with its “last updated” date, applies to your use of the website. A signed or accepted quote continues to be governed by the Terms in force when it was accepted.
